Research Scientist in Software Testing The University of Luxembourg, Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust

Your Role

The successful candidate is expected to assume a leading role in defining, acquiring, managing, and scientifically contributing to projects in the area of software testing and analysis.  The candidate will carry a leading role in the development of novel testing approaches relying, for example, on techniques such as model-driven engineering, metaheuristic search, and constraint solving.

The candidate will advise and support PhD candidates in their thesis research.

Your Profile

  • PhD in Computer Science/Informatics with focus on software verification and validation, preferably software testing.
  • At least 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in a relevant research area.
  • Documented research expertise in one or more of the following areas: search-based testing, security testing, model-driven testing, testing of embedded and cyber-physical systems.
  • Proven track record in carrying a leading role in research project management.
  • Experience in supporting PhD candidates in their research.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • Commitment, team working, and critical mind.
