Postdoctoral researcher / research fellow in communications engineering applications of quantum electrodynamics
The Communications Engineering group at the department of Communications and Networking is doing research on modulated backscatter communications. We seek to understand the fundamental performance limits of the backscatter systems by considering them as a quantum sensing applications. We are looking for a postdoctoral research or research fellow with experience in quantum sensors, quantum photonics, quantum illumination, quantum electrodynamics, and quantum theory of electromagnetic fields. Familiarity with basics of communications theory (modulation and demodulation), information theory, classical electromagnetic field theory, and signal processing (radars) are considered as a merit. Postdoc position is filled for two years with possibility of two years extension. The research fellow position is filled for 3 – 4 years. How to apply
