The TRACE (Toyota Research on Automated Cars in Europe) lab of KU Leuven in Belgium is the central node of a European network that carries out research on automated cars for Toyota. TRACE-Leuven has an immediate opening for one or more developers, who maintain and extend its software for autonomous driving. We work in C++, both in a Linux and Windows environment. The candidate will be involved in the custom hardware and camera control of the autonomous car and software monitoring through dedicated 2D/3D GUI’s. The focus will be on the continued development of the core computer vision tools. The candidates will report to the Leaders of the Research Team or the Development Team, depending on the assignment.
