Visiting Assistant Professor (or Instructor) of Information Systems (Faculty)

 

Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business Department of Information Systems, Operations Management and Law invites applicants for a one-year, full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor (or Instructor) of Information Systems position beginning in the Fall 2017. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in Information Systems or a related field from an AACSB-accredited school (Candidates from schools without a business school are eligible for this position). Candidates must show evidence of teaching effectiveness and be able to teach Information Systems at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ability to teach database, systems analysis and design, and/or applications development using Java or similar language will be highly regarded. The course load is 4-4 with multiple preps. These courses will be taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and/or Executive MBA levels. An appreciation for the importance of education in the Jesuit tradition is also desirable.
