Research Assist­ant - salary grade E13 or E14 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 2nd qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PostDoc)
part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

 

The salary group 14 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len requires per­sonal pre­requis­ites such as proof of the acquis­i­tion of third-party funds and the assump­tion of the pro­ject man­age­ment with cor­res­pond­ing per­son­nel respons­ib­il­ity.


Work­ing field:

 

Per­form self-driven research in a sub­ject area; estab­lish­ment and man­age­ment of a research group; acquis­i­tion of research and third-party pro­jects; tech­nical sup­port of the (HF) lab; pub­lic­a­tion of the obtained research res­ults; sup­port of the chairs teach­ing respons­ib­il­it­ies.


Require­ments:

 

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the field of micro­elec­tron­ics, elec­trical engin­eer­ing or phys­ics and a rel­ev­ant doc­tor­ate; multi-year pro­fes­sional exper­i­ence (includ­ing sev­eral IC tapeouts) in the field of research or devel­op­ment of integ­rated ana­log / mixed-sig­nal / digital / HF cir­cuit design as well as know­ledge in the field of semi­con­ductor tech­no­logy are expec­ted. Detailed tech­nical and sys­tem know­ledge in at least one of the fol­low­ing areas is expec­ted: future mobile radio and / or radar sys­tems or the optical com­mu­nic­a­tion sys­tems. In addi­tion, you should have detailed know­ledge and exper­i­ence in (RF) IC char­ac­ter­iz­a­tion of ana­log / mixed sig­nal / digital / RF cir­cuits; teach­ing exper­i­ence as well as suc­cess­ful research pro­jects (DFG, BMBF, EU) or third-party fund­ing are an advant­age. You are flu­ent in Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage. You are will­ing to travel.
