Job Description
The Organizational Information Systems Department solicits applications from individuals holding a Ph.D. in Administration with specialization in Information Systems (or equivalent specialization). Applications from all academic ranks are accepted.



Teach three cycles in organizational information systems in the areas related to the position.
Conduct research in organizational information systems in areas related to the position.
Conduct research work for graduate students (doctoral theses, dissertations and master's theses) and participate in continuing education activities.
Contribute to the departmental, faculty and university life.
Develop links with the community


Selection criteria


The candidate must:

  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in Administration with specialization in Information Systems or equivalent specialization. Applicants for this position may be in the process of completing their Ph.D.
  • Show an excellent record of publications or a great potential of publications in the future.
  • To be able to teach in the areas put forth by the SIO Department.
  • Demonstrate research interests compatible with those of the Organizational Information Systems (OIS) Department.
  • Demonstrate, in a presentation of her work to department members, that she or he is able to convey the results of her research in an effective manner and to explain its scientific significance and contribution to the management of companies.
  • Demonstrate, during a presentation to the members of the department, that she or he is able to pedagogically transmit a quality education in his area of specialty.
  • Ability to communicate and teach in French and to master the English language.
  • Have a knowledge of the disciplines in the science of administration.
  • Demonstrate ability to obtain research funding


The application file must include a copy of the diplomas obtained, a letter of intent and a detailed curriculum vitae specifying the experience gained, the publications and the current research.
