This is one year position The Research Assistant will be involved in Microwave design by using ADS and Ansoft’s HFSS. The fabrication will be done by using standard PCB manufacturing techniques. The design will be tested in frequency domain by using network analyzers. For the stand alone sensor related RF electronics front-end consisting of the LNA, Mixer, and VCO will be designed and fabricated. Minimum Qualification A bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with strong academic record is essential. Preferred Qualification Expertise in Microwave and Electromagnetic research and High frequency Measurements either in industry or academia is desirable. Experience in designing ‘Metamaterials’ is highly preferable. The candidate should be proficient at Electromagnetic design packages ‘HFSS’ and ‘Momentum’. Expertise in microwave design using ‘CST’ full-wave solver is a plus.
