Assistant Professor

Department of Computer Science

One-Year Term, Full time

 

The University of Northern British Columbia invites applications for a full-time, one-year term position, at the rank of Assistant Professor. The primary responsibility for this position is teaching across the undergraduate curriculum. A successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on the development of course materials in collaboration with other faculty in the Computer Science department. Expertise in either Security or Machine Learning is an asset. The preferred start date for this position is August 15, 2019.

 

Applicants for this position should hold an earned doctorate in Computer Science, or closely related field and present a record of teaching excellence and an ability to teach across the Computer Science curriculum. Applicants who have almost completed an earned doctorate in Computer Science will also be considered.

UNBC is a primarily undergraduate, research intensive university located near the geographic center of beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
