This Academic Specialist is a non-tenure track, fixed-term, full-time teaching position, which is renewable each year according to performance and budget. This position is an academic year (9-month) appointment. Additional opportunities may exist for summer salary compensation. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of courses in Computer Science. The successful candidate will join a motivated team with a record of accomplishment in innovative course development, delivery and assessment. The responsibilities for this position include teaching and development of undergraduate courses, as well as training and supervision of graduate teaching assistants, undergraduate learning assistants, and coordinating laboratory sections.
