The University of Washington's Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering is hiring one or more temporary part-time lecturers in computer animation for the 2019-20 academic year, beginning September 1, 2019. The appointmens can be one 9 month appointment or else renewable quarter by quarter for the 2019-20 academic year. These are non-tenure track positions.

The classes to be taught will be a combination of introductory courses (for example Introduction to Animation or 3D Character Animation) and elective courses (such as an Animation Capstone), with the final schedule to be determined collaboratively in consideration of the candidate's expertise and School needs.

Compensation is competitive with that of comparable positions and includes health insurance and retirement benefits.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in their pedagogy. Candidates must have demonstrated competence in teaching and must have earned a Master's degree, or have equivalent teaching or industry experience. The candidate must be US citizen or have visa status permitting employment in the US.
