Post-doc position (m/f/d, 100% E 13 TV-L) – Inverse Reinforcement Learning, Cooperative/Distributed Machine Learning Faculty of Science, Department of Computer ScienceBewerbungsfrist : 10.02.2021 At the University of Tübingen, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Science, is a Post-doc position (m/f/d, 100% E 13 TV-L) – Inverse Reinforcement Learning, Cooperative/Distributed Machine Learningavailable to be filled as soon as possible. The position is limited to five years. Job description:The main duty is to deliver high-quality research concerning challenges in inverse reinforcement learning (such as hierarchical IRL or multi-agent IRL) and cooperative/distributed machine learning (such as distributed training and distributed implementation of the trained model). The position includes a teaching assistantship equal to 4 hours per week in a fundamental area related to “decision-making”, “Machine Learning”, and/or “Artificial Intelligence”. Profile description:Applicants must possess an excellent recent Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (machine learning, artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems), Mathematics (operations research, statistics, game theory, applied probability theory), or another tightly related field. A strong mathematical background and the motivation to work on theoretical problems are necessary. Good programming skills (at least MATLAB or Python) and English proficiency are also required. Knowledge of German language and previous teaching experience are desired but not necessary.
