Instructor in Mathematics College of the Marshall Islands, Department of Mathematics

The successful candidate will mainly teach Developmental Math courses such as Pre-Algebra, Introductory Algebra and Intermediate Algebra.

In addition, the candidate may also have the opportunity to teach following Credit Level Math courses such as Survey of Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculas, and Elementary Statistics.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Teaching a minimum of 12 credits per semester 
2. Designing, implementing and helping with faculty mentoring for professional development 
3. Student advising during early registration and registration periods 
4. Service to the college in areas of expertise 
5. Participation in on-going assessment and alignment of courses/programs and services 
6. Providing services to support the on-going expansion and advancement of the STEM Department
