POSITION
Electronics Engineering Technology Instructor - 9 Months POSITION DESCRIPTION · This position reports directly to the Dean of Career Programs. Full time faculty members are responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the College's academic programs are of the highest caliber. Curriculum faculty members are accountable for: providing quality learning experiences; facilitating the learning process; student advising; design, development, evaluation, and modification of student learning outcomes, curriculums, courses, and/or programs; ensuring their Electronics Engineering Technology skill sets remain current via professional development; and interacting with community/industry/advisory committee members. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 10 years documented electronics engineering technology experience and possess an Associate's Degree in related field upon date of hire; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Applicant's without Bachelor's Degree must agree to pursue and complete BS requirements by an agreed upon date. Electronic Engineering Technology teaching experience preferred; Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to five hours); Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to reach, crawl, climb, and or lift heavy materials to perform required instructional tasks; Must be able to work as a team member and possess an understanding of and commitment to the unique role of the community college; and Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred. SALARY/BENEFITS · Salary range is $37,000 to $44,000. · Benefits include paid holidays, annual and sick leave, medical insurance (free to employees), and participation in the N.C.
