BSIM Compact Models have served semi-conductor industry for more than a decade starting with BSIM3, BSIM4 then BSIM-SOI. We are now developing industry-standard compact models for multi-gate (BSIM-CMG) and ultra-thin body silicon-on-insulator devices (BSIM-IMG). Our group works closely with the Compact Model Coalition (CMC). It is a consortium of semiconductor companies and simulator vendors world-wide promoting BSIM development as the industry-standard compact model. The council is affiliated with Si2.

The BSIM Group seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar employee, in the area of Electrical Engineering, Physics, or in a closely related field, at percent time 100%. The candidate will perform work in Professor Chenming Hu's lab. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Development of new BSIM compact models; Maintenance and support of BSIM MOSFET compact models (BSIM-CMG, BSIM-IMG, BSIM4, BSIM6, and BSIMSOI); Interface with industry to understand requirements and issues with BSIM models and fix them; Verilog-A and C coding and testing/debugging of models.

Basic Qualifications:
