Ocean College of Zhejiang University is seeking outstanding candidates and accepting applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at all levels in the broad area of marine industry robotics. Zhejiang University is a national public institution of China that was founded in 1897. The University is continuously ranked top three among all Chinese universities in various national rankings. According to the U.S. News & World Reports 2015, the University was ranked #106 overall in the Best Global Universities rankings and #4 in the Best Global Universities for Engineering rankings. Ocean College of Zhejiang University is based on the previous Department of Ocean Science and Engineering (DOSE), Zhejiang University. Located in the National New District--Zhoushan Archipelago New District, a beautiful seaside city, Ocean College has a total area of 58 hectares with a total construction area of 240,000 m2. Ocean College of Zhejiang University is now seeking faculty at the of level of Professor, Associate Professor and Lecturer from around the world who have a background in one of the following areas: marine electrical engineering, marine mechatronics, marine information, marine robots and etc. Successful candidate should have completed their Ph.D., and will be expected to establish a significant research program and/or to teach effectively at undergraduate and graduate levels. Fluency in the Chinese language is preferable, but not essential. The positions remain open till filled.
