School: School of Engineering & Built Environment The School of Engineering and Built Environment wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Electronics to join Audio and Electronics subject group. Our successful undergraduate programmes in Electrical and Electronic Engineering contain pathways in Digital Systems, Telecommunications, Robotics and Mechatronics and Energy Systems, all with particular emphasis on theoretical and practical applications. We seek an Electronic Engineer with experience in Embedded Systems ideally combined with Robotics/Mechatronics experience to join our subject group. Your research interests should align with the University research themes of Sustainable Environments or Healthy Lives. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant team contributing to all levels of teaching and research within the subject area. Our laboratories are extremely well equipped to ensure that teaching and research in Audio and Electronic Engineering is well supported. You will have a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Computer Science (with Embedded Electronic Experience), experience of teaching, academic delivery and a strong commitment to the enhancement of teaching, student experience and progression. A current and appropriate record of research and / or knowledge exchange that compliments the existing themes of the University is essential.
