The German University in Cairo- GUC (Berlin Campus) Position Description:The German University in Cairo, Berlin Campus is looking for highly qualified and motivated Part time faculty ("Lehrbeauftragte/r"). Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses The position is vacant until filled, and only available for academics living in Germany, preferably living in the greater Berlin area. Qualifications:Candidates should hold a doctorate / PhD in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Experience in embedded systems design including ARM and AVR architectures, ARM and AVR Assembly and C programming, interfacing of microcontrollers to sensors and transducers, as well as microcontroller modeling and Simulation tools such as Keil. For Microprocessors experience in modern processor architectures including concurrent processors, memory and I/O subsystems, analytical methods and the use of extensive simulations to model general systems with multiprocessors and shared memories using the queuing theory, practical design targets given the current trends in the technology such as power aware designs.
