We are interested in exceptional applicants from any area related to the department's current research trajectories and priorities; these include human-computer interaction (HCI) and design; computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) and computer-mediated communication (CMC); social computing; information policy; network science; computational social science; digital humanities; the history and anthropology of computing and data; the interface of economics and information; critical and interpretive analysis of information systems; human-robot interaction (HRI); ubiquitous computing; data science and its implications; information visualization; the sociology of organizations and innovation; and information science approaches to societal challenges. In addition to the areas of work listed above, we are particularly interested in individuals whose work fits into one of the three initial hubs at Cornell Tech (Connective Media, Healthier Life, and Built Environment).
Please apply online at: https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/7820. We will begin reviewing and interviewing candidates immediately and continue until positions are filled. Applicants should submit a curriculum vita (CV), brief statements describing research, teaching, and external engagement, and arrange to have at least three reference letters submitted. In the cover letter, CV, or research statement, applicants should identify a small set of their most significant pieces of work.
Please note this does not include faculty positions at the Ithaca campus, which require a separate application at FACITHACAIS2016.
