The position
The Center for Quantum Devices and Station Q Copenhagen at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, announces the opening of a post doc position to develop hybrid superconductor-semiconductor materials for quantum transport electronic structures. The project work will involve bottom-up nano-structured crystal growth, structural and electronic characterization, with the overarching goal of making low dimensional components for topological quantum information processing.
The candidate The successful applicant, who should have a strong background in both physics and material science, and preferably in nanofabrication, will be enrolled as a postdoc at the University of Copenhagen.

Terms of appointment and payment The postdoc position has a duration of two year from April 1st 2017 with the possibility of extension.
Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central organization. The starting salary is currently up to DKK 408,730 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 69,893). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
