The College of Arts & Sciences is inviting applications of experienced and qualified adjunct faculty to teach, on a part-time basis, undergraduate courses of mathematics at Abu Dhabi University in the Spring 2016-2017.
Appointments at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor) are available and will be decided based on qualifications and relevant experience.
The adjunct faculty will be responsible for delivering in class lectures, guiding and examining the students, and maintaining a course file for each section taught.
To qualify, the applicant must have the following:
• PhD degree in Mathematics from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
• Scholarly command of English.
• Knowledge of contemporary instructional technology and use of BlackBoard.
• Able to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the current employer.
• Must have own UAE Visa (sponsored by employer or spouse)
