The Theoretical Physics group conducts research in supersymmetry, gravity, string theory, and related areas. The permanent members of the group are Dr Benjamin Doyon, Dr Nadav Drukker, Dr Nikolay Gromov, Professor Neil Lambert, Professor Dario Martelli, Dr Sameer Murthy, Professor George Papadopoulos, Dr Andreas Recknagel, Professor Gerard Watts and Professor Peter West. These are fixed-term posts for 3 years. Applicants should have the potential to carry out research which has high levels of originality, innovation and depth that may lead to significant impact on their field over the long term, and have expertise related to the areas of supersymmetry, gravity and string theory. The selection process will include a panel interview. This Full time post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years. The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 to £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance. Or if shortly to be awarded a PhD, then the appointed salary would be Grade 5, spine point 30, currently £32,548 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
