Researcher in Information Technology The University of Stavanger has a free time-limited position for 2 years as a researcher in information technology at the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering with startup as soon as possible. The University of Stavanger's task is to develop "Cloud Data Hub" in a * NIX environment. The work tasks will mainly include the development of the data center infrastructure and network platform. This web-form should be hosted in the Center for IP-based Service Innovation (CIPSI) data center. Applicants at the post must have a minimum of masters degree in computer science, preferably doctorate, and must be able to document solid research experience at a high academic level. Applicants must be able to document solid theoretical knowledge in programming, algorithm theory, logic, formal analysis and design, design and operation of complex computer systems. Furthermore, the candidate must be fluent in English and be able to write high quality technical prose in English. The candidate must be able to co-operate and communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners. The candidate must be able to work both independently and jointly. It is also important that the candidate both wishes and the ability to participate academically and socially with colleagues at the institute. The work tasks will be research, dissemination and administrative tasks associated with the research project.
