E. Warschawski Visiting Assistant Professorships, subject to final budget approval. These positions are open to any area of pure or applied mathematics and statistics. The nine-month salary is $64,000. The start date of the next appointment is July 1, 2018. These positions are three-year nonrenewable appointments. Qualified candidates will have: Required: • a recent Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a related field, or expect to complete their PhD prior to the start of Fall quarter 2018 Additional qualifications: • excellent teaching skills • excellent research potential • experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment Preferred: • research interests compatible with current faculty are preferred Review of applications will commence on December 1, 2017 and continue until positions are filled.
