The task associated with the position is the dedicated participation in the exercise group leadership and related coordination and preparation of the practice operation of the course "Fundamentals Operating Systems" in the Bachelor Computer Science. The task associated with the position is the dedicated participation in the exercise group leadership and related coordination and preparation of the practice operation of the course "Fundamentals Operating Systems" in the Bachelor Computer Science. In addition, the position offers the opportunity for doctoral studies with a largely free choice of topics in the field of research of the chair. Possible topics range from (hardware-related) mobile systems via Internet protocols and architectures as well as in-network computing via Internet-based applications to mobility and recommendation systems. We expect: Sound knowledge of operating systems and the programming language C / C ++, Interest in system-related design and development of robust systems, analytical skills for the evaluation, abstraction and modeling of mobility characteristics, very good exam of a scientific university in the field of computer science, very good knowledge of German and English, first experience in university teaching, eg as tutor, Enjoying responsibility, team and communication skills as well as independent, goal-oriented work.
