Job Description The Engineering Requirements Unit (ERU) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. The UAEU is recognized for its academic excellence and ranks among the top universities in the region. All engineering programs at UAEU are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE. The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Examples of such courses include, but are not limited to, Engineering Ethics, Engineering Economics, Engineering Thermodynamics, Quality Engineering and Operations Research. English is the language of instruction and communication in the College of Engineering. Candidates should have strong records in teaching and research and should have publications in reputable journals.
