Research Associate/Senior Research Associate - AI-Driven Biomedical Image AnalysisApply now Job no: 501062 The Opportunity One of the growing focus areas in the School of Computer Science and Engineering is biomedical image computing. Advanced computational methods for automated medical image analysis, bioimage informatics, health informatics, and downstream data analytics are increasingly needed to improve the reliability and throughput of medical diagnostics and screening. Artificial intelligence (AI) approaches, in particular machine and deep learning using artificial neural networks, are key components of the methods we are developing for these purposes. The Research Associate/Senior Research Associate will support the ongoing research in this area and develop solutions for new challenging problems in biomedical imaging. The Research Associate/Senior Research Associate reports to Professor Erik Meijering and has no direct reports.
