SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IN HUMAN CENTERED COMPUTING

At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, the Department of Computer Science is a vacancy as a scientific assistant vacant from 1 August 2019 or soon thereafter. The position is for a 2-year period.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The employment relates to tasks in the research project "Energy synchronization" that works with the balanced energy supply / consumption of the future, including the interaction between the supply industry and consumers and investments in the supply system and consumers. Here the candidate must participate in the project group and solve tasks that are prioritized on a regular basis, incl. in an iterative process develop digital prototypes for consumers, design information system, analyze on interaction between supply and consumption. 
This must be done in close collaboration with other AAU researchers in the field of energy planning and low energy architecture. 



There will also be teaching assignments associated with the programs at the Department of Computer Science.



It is a prerequisite that the candidate has competencies at PhD level within research in human-computer interaction and / or information systems, and that the applicant has both technical competencies in relation to the design and programming of prototypes, and application-oriented competencies in relation to the implementation of studies of the use of interactive technologies. The candidate must also have experience with guidance / teaching at various IT programs, eg. computer science, informatics or interaction design.

Qualification requirements: 
Scientific assistant requires qualifications at master's level.

SALARIES AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

 

Recruitment takes place in accordance with Appointment Order no. 242 of March 13, 2012 and the Ministry of Finance's current employment structure for academic staff at universities. Recruitment and remuneration according to agreement for academics in the state.
