Our Center for Mobility Systems is seeking to hire a new Ingenious Partner for our location in Vienna.

Scientist (m/f) in traffic modelling (Parental leave)

IMAGINE

We conduct research on data-driven approaches for modelling, analysis and decision making in mobility systems for passenger transport.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work on the impact analysis for the integration of new mobility concepts such as automated driving and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) into existing transport systems.
ENGAGE

Together with the team, you will create innovative project ideas based on recent developments.
You will develop innovative solutions for modelling passenger movements in multimodal mobility systems.
You will develop new methods for modelling multimodal transport demand and implement them in pro-typical applications.


ACHIEVE

Your knowledge and commitment will contribute to the successful practical implementation of projects and tasks.
You will successfully publish your solutions, methods and approaches in an academic environment.
You are part of an international network of science and industry.
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner (m/f):

You hold a degree in technical studies
Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: data-driven traffic modelling, statistics, machine learning, data analytics
Special interest in applied research and solutions to practical problems
Self-motivation, analytical thinking and goal-oriented search for solutions
Implementation-oriented thinking and structured way of working
Excellent English skills (both spoken and written), knowledge of the German language is an asset but not mandatory.

 

What to expect:

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 46.186,--. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer company benefits, flexible working conditions, individual training and career opportunities.
