About This Opportunity The School of Mathematics and Physics is seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in mathematics or statistics. The appointee will have a developed research program in mathematics or statistics, and will be required to engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development, including service courses. The appointee will also supervise Higher Degree by Research (PhD and MPhil), postgraduate coursework and Honours students, conduct high-quality research and perform administrative, outreach and other activities associated with the School.

About the Selection Process As part of the Selection Process, applicants shortlisted for interview will be required to present a seminar and a mock lecture to members of the School community prior to their scheduled interview. The lecture topic will be provided in advance to shortlisted candidates. The research seminar will be for 40 minutes plus 5-10 minutes of questions, and the mock lecture will be 25 minutes, plus questions.
Please note that the seminars and mock lectures are likely to occur on Friday 22 and Monday 25 November 2024, and interviews are likely to be held during the week commencing November 25, 2024.
