TITLE OF POST: Senior SI Technical Analyst (2 positions)

LOCATION: University of Limerick

REPORTS TO: Academic Services Manager

CONTRACT TYPE: Multiannual

SALARY SCALE: €45,095 - €54,128 p.a.

QUALIFICATION: Higher Education/Professional/Technical qualification or substantial experience in a third level environment or large enterprise.

CLOSING DATE: Thursday, 25th July 2019, 12 noon, Irish Standard Time

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of the Senior SI Technical Analyst is supporting the Student Information System (SIS). The SIS is used to enable academic and administrative staff to enhance the student experience by achieving proficiency in collecting, storing and delivering information. The system has university wide stakeholders.

The main purposes of the job includes the following:

Provide specialist knowledge of the SIS to both system users and senior management.
Lead medium sized projects relating but not limited to the SIS.
Business analyst for cross departmental corporate projects, when required by ITD.
Provide advice and guidance to senior management to aid in decision making in relation to SIS.
Undertake new developments which will enhance the SIS and improve business processes, involving all stages of the development lifecycle.
