Visiting Professor for Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Engn - Elec & Computer Engn Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick Campus), invites applications for a full-time, visiting professor position, beginning September 1, 2022. The position will be a calendar year contract, with the possibility of renewal. Salary and title will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Responsibilities include: teaching courses on smart grid, communication and sustainable energy. We are seeking a highly motivated visiting faculty with strong experience in teaching at the college level, experience in developing new courses, and helping in Capstone organizations. Required background in Smart Cities, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, Microgrids, Home Automation Systems for Smart Grid, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Broadband Communications. COVID-19 Immunization Requirement Under Policy 60.1.35, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
