Task description:


Independent research in a subject area; Establishment and management of a research group; Acquisition of research and third-party projects; Technical support of the (HF) laboratory of the subject; Publication of the research results; Establishment and support of the institute in the field of teaching.

Expected qualifications:


Successfully completed academic university degree (master, diploma or equivalent) in the field of microelectronics, electrical engineering or physics and a relevant doctorate; (in particular several successful IC tapouts) in the area of research or development of integrated analog / mixed signal / digital / HF circuit design as well as knowledge in the field of semiconductor technology are expected. Detailed technical and system knowledge in at least one of the following areas is expected: future mobile radio and / or radar systems or optical communication systems. In addition, you should have detailed knowledge and experience in (RF) IC characterization of analog / mixed signal / digital / RF circuits; Experience in teaching as well as successful research projects (DFG, BMBF, EU) or third-party funding are an advantage.
