The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Florida Tech invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Computer Science beginning August 2025. The preferred rank is Assistant Professor, though other levels will be considered. Required qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, evidence of the ability to develop and sustain an active research program, and a sincere interest in quality teaching, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants from all areas of computer science, software engineering and related fields will be considered with emphasis in Software Engineering, Software Security, Secure Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Big Data, and/or Digital Engineering. The department has ABET-accredited programs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering, and receives significant active research funding from several government agencies and industry partners.
