The normal teaching load for an instructor (12-month position) is 4 to 5 course sections a semester during the academic year and up to three courses a summer. Instructors also participate in departmental, service and undergraduate student advising activities




A master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, preferably with a B.S.E.E. from an ABET accredited program, is required for appointment as an instructor. We seek applicants with expertise in any area of electrical engineering or a closely related field. Related teaching, industry experience, and professional licensure are all highly desirable.
