At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Institut für Informatik - Abteilung Maschinelles Lernen, there is a position as Junior Research Group Leader UGOE/(CAIMed) (all genders welcome)
Entgeltgruppe 14 TV-L/100% to be filled. Starting date is as soon as possible. The position is initially limited to three years with the possibility of extension for an additional year, subject to continued funding by third-party sponsors.
Research Focus The research group will focus on modern AI methods for generating digital twins from biological and medical data. The goal is to contribute to knowledge generation in the life sciences through innovative approaches. Possible (but not exclusive) research areas may include:

About CAIMed The Lower Saxony Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and Causal Methods in Medicine (CAIMed) is a newly founded interdisciplinary research center with the goal of achieving breakthroughs in medical research and clinical practice through innovative AI methods and causal inference.
