KTP Associate in Computer Science and Machine Learning for Financial Risk Analysis

Project Title: Machine Learning and data analysis for risk assessment and prediction in commodity supply chain.

This is a 24 month KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) project between Loughborough University and Satoshi Systems. The objective of this project is to use data and explore data science and machine learning technology to build analytic tools and classification and predictions models for credit rating of commodity traders and supply chain disruption/risk forecasts. Tasks will include data pre-processing, statistic analysis, identifying performance indicators and matrices and developing robust machine learning based classifiers and predictive models.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual ideally in possession of practical experience in machine learning, data science, statistics, data analytics or related subjects. The candidate should have a PhD or MSc degree (or equivalent) in these fields. Programming skills in e.g. C++/Python/SQL and ML tools/API are desirable. Experience in deep learning, database applications, SQL, cloud-based database and computation, finance data analysis will be beneficial.

The KTP Associate will be based primarily at the Company premises in Canary Wharf, London, but will also spend some time at Loughborough University.
