Lecturer in Computer Science (University of Botswana)

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Computer Science; (i) supervise undergraduate projects but may be assigned to supervise graduate dissertations (ii) carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department. Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a doctorate in Computer Science or related area; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research and evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages. N.B. In special circumstances applicants with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related may be considered, provided the candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6/5 or equivalent may be considered on contract basis.
