Your role Software Budgeting: Collect information for budgeting and forecast purposes Review and update actual costs vs planned spending per year Software Purchasing: Evaluate the purpose of new software and the impact on our environment and other applications, in conjunction with our IT teams Work with IT, Central Procurement, and the software distributor or vendor to purchase software Software Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all software assets Track software licenses, versions, and installations Compliance and Licensing: Propose and adapt the best licensing strategy according to the needs, market trends, and overall value Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements Conduct regular audits to verify software usage and compliance Optimization and Cost Management: Analyze software usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings for renewals, software licensing, and services Optimize software deployment and usage to maximize value Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and enforce software asset management policies Educate staff and faculty on software asset management best practices Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports on software inventory, usage, and compliance Maintain detailed documentation of software assets and related processes Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software asset management or a related role. Strong knowledge of software licensing and compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in asset management tools and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB is a plus. Your role

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software asset management or a related role.
Strong knowledge of software licensing and compliance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
