The role The University of Bristol is seeking to appoint an outstanding Professor of Cyber Security to join the internationally recognised Bristol Cyber Security Group (BCSG) in the School of Computer Science. This is an exceptional opportunity for an established academic leader to shape the future of cyber security research and education within one of the UK's leading research-intensive universities. What will you be doing? As Professor of Cyber Security, you will: Lead and deliver internationally recognised research in an area aligned with the BCSG. Develop an ambitious research vision and secure significant external funding. Build and lead high-performing research teams and collaborative partnerships. Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of cyber security research within the School and University. Deliver innovative teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Supervise and mentor PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and academic colleagues. Play a leading role in fostering an inclusive, collaborative and intellectually vibrant academic community.
