Role Overview The successful candidate will: Lead research in integrated micro-nano magnetics materials, devices, and systems for high-performance computing and AI. Design, fabricate, test, and integrate novel micro-nano magnetic devices and systems. Provide academic leadership in MicroNano Magnetics activities across the School of Engineering and Tyndall National Institute. Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to teaching initiatives. Support Tyndall’s mission and UCC Futures strategic goals, including involvement with the SFI CONNECT Centre for Future Communications and Networks. Candidate Profile Distinguished research record in integrated micro-nano magnetics materials, devices, or systems (experimental expertise required). Proven record of teaching excellence and ability to mentor researchers. Ability to collaborate with industry and lead research teams. Capacity to develop new research initiatives and coordinate research and teaching across the Institute and School.
