Research Associate - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

 

The SonicMEMS Laboratory in the School of Electrical Engineering is seeking a Research Associate scholar to work in the area of microsystems, MEMS, ultrasonic, and novel materials. The successful candidate must have a PhD in a related area and considerable experience past the PhD with piezoelectric and electrostatic, graphene-based, and RF MEMS. In particular, experience with modeling piezoelectric, electrostatic, and thermal microsystems is desired in using COMSOL. It is expected that the candidate will also have experience with scientific programing in MATLAB, Python or an equivalent language for modeling and data analysis. A working knowledge of the specifications of RF filters and CMOS process integration is also required.
