The Department of Mathematics at Wellesley College invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer for two years, teaching four courses per year. Three of the four courses will be in Fall 2019 and one course will be in Spring 2020. Benefits will begin in the fall semester of 2019.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences and provide strong evidence of excellence in teaching. Applications should be submitted online through MathJobs and should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a short description of research (written for non-specialists), a statement of teaching interests and experience, and two letters of reference discussing teaching. The cover letter should address the candidate's interest in developing his/her teaching and research in an undergraduate liberal arts setting with a diverse student body.
